The Zendesk
Neighbor Foundation
The Zendesk Neighbor Foundation is just what it sounds like: a way for us to be good neighbors and give back to the communities we call home. Our goal is to engage with the people around us and provide support to organizations committed to local neighborhood improvement. In particular, we focus on addressing poverty and homelessness, health care, education, gender equality, workforce development, and technical literacy.

Since 2012, Zendesk has woven corporate giving into its business model. In 2014, Zendesk pledged to seed a brand new foundation with money raised at its IPO. The Zendesk Neighbor Foundation is just that - a non-profit that operates independently from Zendesk, Inc. The current seed fund for this foundation is $1M, or 1% of the total raised on the day of the company’s IPO.
